Cheese Brining Cage Loader

   Afternoon Shift: 2:30p to 11p

5 Days per week

• →Load product into brine cages in a timely and orderly fashion maximizing use of cage space and no damage to product
• →Inspect cheese for non-conforming product, remove such product, return to rework in a timely manner
• →Keep correct count of cheese on each layer of the cage
• →Perform housekeeping duties as required
• →Assist with form changes and table operations
• →Assist with rework as needed
• →Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion
• →Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment.
• →Check and remove any leftover product in cage shelves before loading.
• →Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment.
• →Disassemble equipment for CIP and reassemble when finished.
• →Change and clean brine filters as needed.
• →Assist in training of new personnel.
• →Assist in other production areas as required.
• →Minimize water usage and eliminate the generation of wastewater within the scope of position.
• →Follow all DFA GMP’s and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements
• →Perform related duties as assigned.
• →Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Ability to use commercial English, grammar, and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, including decimals and fractions.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
