Survey CAD Technician

This position provides technical and office support for survey projects, assisting in preparing various survey deliverables while taking on greater responsibility for independent tasks.

• →Perform survey tasks with minimal guidance from the Survey Project Manager and Project Surveyor.
• →Complete intermediate-level drawings and calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• →Review and verify the accuracy of data before submitting for review.
• →Prepare detailed field packages, legal descriptions, and exhibits.
• →Conduct occasional field checks and provide feedback to field crews.
• →Compile, analyze, and manipulate survey data for use in reports and deliverables.
• →Assist with deed research and abstracting, creating base maps, and processing data into final drawings.

• Associate’s degree, certificate, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a survey technician or related role.
• Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with MicroStation is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrates initiative and independent problem-solving skills for moderately complex tasks.
• Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed.
