Senior Accountant - Private Equity - FTC 6 Months

To deliver the financial reporting requirements for a high profile, complex private equity client, which may include a range of fund structures.

• At least actively studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or equivalent), fully qualified accountant is preferrable but not required
• At least 2 to 3 years accounting experience preferably in financial services industry but not required
• Experience in producing financial statements to UK GAAP, US GAAP or IFRS
• Experience of developing and coaching others on a one-to-one basis
• Competent user of Microsoft Excel

This role is based in Guernsey. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
