The Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for the secure handling, logging, storage, packaging, and shipment of materials and equipment, including U.S. Government-regulated and sensitive items.

This role requires disciplined execution, strong documentation practices, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering, production, quality, and security stakeholders. Success in this position requires operational rigor, discretion, and a demonstrated ability to maintain compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• →Receive, inspect, log, and track inbound and outbound materials in accordance with internal controls and compliance requirements
• →Handle U.S. Government-regulated and sensitive equipment in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations
• →Maintain accurate chain-of-custody records, inventory logs, and audit documentation
• →Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, and security teams to support the movement of sensitive materials
• →Prepare packaging and documentation for domestic and international shipments involving regulated equipment
• →Ensure proper storage, access control, and segregation of sensitive materials and equipment
• →Support internal and external audits related to inventory, compliance, and logistics
• →Identify process gaps and recommend continuous improvement opportunities within shipping and receiving operations

• Demonstrated experience handling sensitive or controlled equipment or materials in a corporate or industrial environment
• Strong attention to detail with a proven record of accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Experience with inventory management systems, logs, and tracking tools
• Ability to follow established procedures and controls with consistency
• Effective communication skills to coordinate across production, engineering, and operations teams
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability

• Prior experience with U.S. Government-regulated, export-controlled, or classified materials
• Familiarity with packaging and transportation requirements for sensitive or regulated equipment
• Experience supporting audits related to logistics, inventory, or compliance
• Background in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain

• Physical effort including standing, lifting, and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Must be able to work all required shift hours, overtime and/or weekends as needed
