In this Sr Web Software Engineer role, you will lead and develop the web frontend of GM Commercial Software. This role provides a unique opportunity where you will be working across all of the GM Commercial software products and truly steering the future of GM Commercial Software's web applications, products, and customers. • →Collaborate with the product to implement responsive, visually appealing functionality using React. Ensure the usability and accessibility of web applications for a wide range of users. 

• →Build and launch new capabilities and products that bring significant value to customers internal and external 

• →Uphold our high engineering standards. Elevate quality and engineering efficiency within our codebases.  

• →Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization including product, design, and other engineering functions. 

• →Mentor engineers earlier in their technical career to help them grow. 

• →Explore new technologies and enrich our technological stack. 

• →Actively participate in technical discussions and deep dives with architectural groups. 

• 5+ years of hands-on web application development  

• Strong understanding and experience with React, Redux, and design systems. 

• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure the reliability and robustness of the applications. 

• Write high quality production code that is tested thoroughly, supported by clear documentation and has appropriate production observability 

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile development environment. 

• Experience working independently and drive features or components throughout the development lifecycle 

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. 

• Knowledge of software design patterns, OO, data structures, and algorithms.
