The Low Voltage Infrastructure Team within the Embedded Platform Systems & Infrastructure organization is focused on the development of systems and controls centered around on-vehicle low voltage power generation, energy storage, power management, distribution, and consumption on ICE, EV and PHEV vehicle platforms. There is no better time to join this domain as we evolve to the next generation of low voltage power strategy, innovation, and capability in current product VIP and the next generation on SDV2.0.

As a Software Solution Lead Engineer, your technical expertise in the low voltage power management domain will be leveraged throughout the entire vehicle development life cycle, including requirements definition, design and implementation, integration, testing, and problem resolution. Your products will be at the core of all vehicles within the General Motors portfolio and are essential to keeping General Motors at the forefront of low voltage related technologies.

Your endeavors will significantly contribute to GM's vision of a world with ZERO Crashes, ZERO Emissions, and ZERO Congestion, emphasizing the transformative impact of Software Defined Vehicle architecture.

  • Innovation: Embrace a culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Collaboration: Foster synergistic collaboration across cross-functional teams
  • Customer-Centricity: Uphold the voice of the customer in all architectural decisions
  • Integrity: Maintain high ethical standards and transparency in engineering activities

Responsibilities
