Responsibilities

Build & Deliver: Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and test scalable, reliable features powering our reporting and analytics solutions.

AI-Augmented Engineering: Actively leverage modern AI coding assistants and development tools to explore, prototype, write, and refactor code, accelerating time-to-market.

Engineering Quality & Testing: Write and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and acceptance tests to ensure enterprise-grade stability and performance.

Collaborative Development: Actively participate in peer code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile team ceremonies.

Security & Compliance: Understand and uphold Genesys' strict standards for security, data privacy (including HIPAA compliance guidelines), and our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Have Fun: Bring your enthusiasm, engage with teammates, and enjoy learning and building great software together.

Requirements

Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java).
Familiarity with Git version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab).
Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies, cloud architectures, modern data/reporting stacks, and stay on top of the rapid evolution of AI.
Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
Hands-on experience or active experimentation with modern AI developer tools and agentic coding CLI/assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Kiro, Cursor, Copilot, or similar LLM-driven development tools).
Exposure to data visualization, reporting pipelines, or API integrations.
Prior experience or coursework in automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud services (e.g., AWS).
