Title: Marketing Lead Experience: 5 to 8 years in B2B marketing LocationChennai, on-site, with regular overlap into US business hours Type: Full-time. Our first marketing hire, founding the function Reports to Senior Director Market US mid-market and enterprise B2B The opportunity Genworx builds agentic AI software for mid-market and enterprise businesses in the United States. We build industry leading solutions on cutting-edge AI tech stacks, and we sell both directly and through a growing network of technology distributors and cloud marketplaces in North America. We are hiring our first Marketing Lead. Most marketing roles hand you an inherited strategy and a brand settled years before you arrived. This one gives you the pen. You get an opportunity to design and define Genworx's marketing strategy and execution. Two things make this a good moment to take it on. Agentic AI is where enterprise software is moving right now, and buyers in finance, operations and IT are actively looking for exactly what we build, so there is live demand to capture rather than a category to invent. And you will be marketing AI products while using AI tools yourself every day, a combination very few marketing roles offer and one that will compound your own value fast. You will work directly with our US sales and business development leadership and our India leadership team, who carry the customer conversation. You build and run everything that brings a buyer to that conversation. Brand and positioning •Positioning and messaging. Define what Genworx stands for, who it is for and why a buyer should choose us. Build the messaging architecture at company level and for each solution, since the buyer changes by function. •Proof. Turn live customer work into evidence a US buyer finds credible: case studies, reference stories, outcome narratives and use-case content. •Website. Own the site as the main expression of the brand as well as a conversion surface. Structure, narrative, solution pages and ongoing content, with in-house design and engineering support available to you. •Company voice. Own LinkedIn and our public presence. Set the editorial voice and build leadership and executive presence with content they will genuinely want to publish. •Brand system. Create the guidelines, templates and asset library so that sales, pre-sales and delivery all present one company. •Discoverability. Own how buyers find us. Search, and equally the AI answer engines, since a growing share of our market now researches through AI assistants before they ever open a search page. •Credibility surfaces. Build our standing on the platforms where US software buyers check whether a vendor is real, including G2, Capterra and Clutch. •PR and analysts. Shape and coordinate external PR, media and analyst activity through agency partners. Demand generation • Own the plan. Build and run the US demand generation strategy, from ideal customer profile and personas through to pipeline targets. Strategy, execution, tools, budget and results all sit with you. • Paid campaigns. Plan, launch and optimize LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads and programmatic campaigns aimed at US decision-makers, with real ownership of the budget and the performance. • Account-based marketing. Run ABM against named target accounts alongside sales: account selection, intent signals, personalized messaging and nurture, measured on account engagement and opportunities rather than clicks. • Content. Produce what a B2B buyer needs before they will take a call. Case studies, whitepapers, solution and landing pages, webinars and sales collateral, hands-on, with AI tools and freelancers where they help. • Lifecycle and automation. Own email, nurture and lifecycle automation in the CRM, including lead scoring and a clean handover of qualified leads into sales. • Search and conversion. Drive organic and paid search against US buyer intent, and own how well the site converts. Partner and co-marketing • Build and run joint campaigns with distribution and channel partners, including co-branded content and shared lead programs. • Turn partner-supplied account lists into segmented, workable programs that produce conversations. • Create partner-facing collateral that a partner's own sellers will actually pick up and use: solution flyers, onepagers, battlecards and enablement material. • Own our presence and listings across partner and cloud marketplaces. • Run joint webinars, partner events and co-selling campaigns with partner marketing teams in the US. Measurement • Report the funnel weekly: spend, cost per lead, qualified leads, opportunities, pipeline, acquisition cost and return, and move budget towards what is working. • Build and own the marketing dashboard, and keep the CRM clean enough that marketing activity traces through to pipeline. • Track brand health alongside pipeline: branded search, direct traffic, share of voice, engagement and the quality of inbound enquiries. • Manage agencies, freelancers and tools within an agreed budget. What would put you ahead • Brand building at an early stage. You have taken a company or product from little recognition to real presence and can tell us how you did it. • Partner, channel or co-marketing experience, particularly with technology distributors, cloud providers or marketplaces. • Genuine working depth with AI tools. Not that you use ChatGPT, but that you have built workflows, automations or campaigns around AI tools and can walk us through the process and the result. • Intent and enrichment platforms such as ZoomInfo, Apollo, Clay, 6sense, Bombora or RollWorks. • Answer-engine and AI search optimization. • Experience marketing AI, cloud, finance automation or workforce software. • Running webinars or events for overseas audiences. • Working design or video capability with Canva, Figma or AI video tools, for fast creative turnaround. • Certifications in HubSpot, Google Ads or LinkedIn Marketing. How we hire Before we meet, we will send you a short written questionnaire. It asks for specifics: budgets you have run, conversion rates you have achieved, campaigns and their results. We read it properly, and candidates who give us real numbers consistently do better. The conversations that follow are working ones. Expect to talk through how you would allocate a budget and what you would expect it to produce. We would rather see how you think than hear a rehearsed answer. If this sounds like the role you have been waiting to be handed, we would like to hear from you. Requirements Five to eight years in B2B marketing. We count years spent in marketing, so please state your total professional experience and your total marketing experience separately. • Experience marketing to US B2B (Mandatory), and an understanding of how a long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sale really runs. • A business-to-business background. Your buyer has been another company rather than a consumer. • Technology, software or IT services. You have marketed a technology product or service and can hold a conversation with a technical buyer. • Hands-on paid media ownership. You have planned, run and optimized LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads with a budget you controlled, and you can tell us what that budget was. • Working depth in CRM and marketing automation. Day-to-day ownership of a platform such as HubSpot (preferably), Zoho, Salesforce or Marketo, including nurture flows and lead scoring. • Results you can show in real numbers. At least one outcome where you can give us the figure before, the figure after and the period over which it moved. • The appetite to run your own show. You set the plan, do the work and own the outcome. If you have been a solo marketer or a first marketing hire before, that counts for a lot here. • Outstanding written and spoken English that holds up with US enterprise buyers. • Comfort working with regular overlap into US hours, including some early morning and evening calls.
