Get Golfing CIO, a charity with a mission to make golf more accessible for all, is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Cobtree Manor Golf Club.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who loves working with food but is seeking a better work-life balance, reduced hours, or a more flexible schedule.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes while enjoying the freedom to shape a working pattern that suits your lifestyle.

The role is a job share role, offering flexibility and overtime available depending on the needs of the business.  We understand that not everyone wants the long hours and intensity of a traditional full-time kitchen role. This position is designed specifically for experienced professionals looking to step back—without stepping away—from what they love.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a thriving and dynamic organisation which manages and operates 13 sites with 7,000 members and over 160,000 visitors each year.

The successful candidate will be part of a £20m revenue company of 500 people which reinvests profits from its operations into its venues, courses, the development of its people, and importantly, community oriented charitable initiatives local to its sites.

Our model is to maximise revenue through memberships, golf days, events, functions, and F&B. We say that “our courses are for golfers while our clubhouses are for everyone”.

The Role

We take great pride in the food we serve, from our vibrant events to our exceptional Clubhouse offerings. As one of our Cooks, you’ll be a key part of our kitchen team, bringing our dishes to life with creativity and skill.
