Powerplay (getpowerplay.in) is Slack for Construction Industry that helps construction project owners and contractors track on-site progress in real-time to finish projects on time and in the budget. We aim to bring the speed of software development to infrastructure development.

• →Develop REST APIs for mobile and web app
• →Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• →Design and implementation of high-availability applications
• →Implementation of security and data protection
• →Discover, plan, write, document and maintain new and existing integration and endpoints
• →Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
• →Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
• →Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript
• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express.js
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Knowledge of building Node.js applications at scale. Such as logging, error reporting, queuing and clustering. Plus if familiar working in a microservice environment
