**About the Role**

Are you a builder at heart? GE Vernova is establishing a brand-new, state-of-the-art Panel Manufacturing facility in the Salt Lake City area. We are looking for an Industrialization & Lean Manufacturing Engineer to serve as a cornerstone of this new operation.

In this role, you won’t just maintain processes—you will design them. You will lead the transition of our manufacturing from concept to commissioning, and eventually into a high-scale, mature production environment. If you thrive in dynamic, "greenfield" environments and are passionate about Lean principles, safety, and scalable automation, we want to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • →Greenfield Launch: Lead the industrialization of our new facility, from facility layout and workstation design to equipment commissioning and production ramp-up.
  • →Process Engineering: Define and optimize manufacturing sequences for panel assembly, wiring, and testing. Ensure every process is safe, efficient, and scalable.
  • →Lean Leadership: Embed Lean manufacturing into our DNA. You will drive Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizen events to eliminate waste and optimize flow.
  • →Technical Problem Solving: Act as the lead for root-cause analysis and implement sustainable technical solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
  • →Strategic Growth: As we scale, you will identify opportunities for new manufacturing technologies and automation to improve our performance across SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People).
  • →Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Quality, EHS, and Supply Chain teams to ensure our designs are manufacturable and our outputs exceed customer expectations.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
