Product Definition Engineer contributes to the work group in order to meet assigned objectives. As a PDE Engineer you will work on:
• Design & development of Gas Turbine parts - including 2D drawings and MBDs
• Technical improvement of existing products and components
In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Responsibilities

→Execute PDE support or evaluation of assigned individual and team projects using engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and program requirements.
→Execute new definition for parts and assemblies (3D models, MBD, 2D drawings), 2D cross sections using NX & Catia functionality.
→Create new or update existing definition per Gas Power standards.
→Create or update Bill of Material structures.
→Implement and develop processes and procedures that assure the highest quality of provided deliverables and be consistent with engineering policies and standards.
→Participate as a presenter in technical reviews.
→Document and communicate results of technical data generated.
→Complete assigned tasks on time and on budget.

Requirements

BSc in Engineering.
Fundamental understanding of the mechanical engineering.
Knowledge of standard manufacturing processes.
Experience with commercial CAD package.
GD&T & ASME Y14.5 & ISO understanding.
Ability to work effectively with domestic (EIC) and worldwide (US, India, Mexico, etc) based engineers.
