Project Site Coordinator

As an Associate Project Management & Site Coordinator, you will serve as the primary on-site representative for GE Vernova (GEV). You will act as the critical bridge between GEV’s internal engineering/supply teams and the KAPES/KEPCO construction teams. In this role, you will safeguard GEV’s reputation by ensuring that equipment delivery, engineering quality, and site safety standards are rigorously maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

• →Site Coordination & Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between GEV and KAPES/KEPCO. Facilitate communication, drive issue resolution, and ensure alignment between customer expectations and GEV project delivery.
• →Engineering & Quality Management: Manage technical documentation workflows, including Requests for Information (RFIs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and as-built documentation. Ensure all GEV engineering and equipment meet site quality requirements.
• →Logistics & Material Management: Oversee equipment deliveries, including inspection checklist readiness, monitoring of missing or faulty materials, and preparation of progress reports.
• →EHS & Site Safety: Prioritize Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance. Support GEV site supervisors with work permitting and day-to-day site logistics to ensure a safe working environment in accordance with local regulations.
• →Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and escalate site issues to GEV project teams to protect project timelines and maintain customer satisfaction.
• →Meeting Participation: Contribute to regular progress meetings, providing status updates on site activities and engineering progress.

• Education: Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience: Proven experience in construction or infrastructure project sites, specifically with contractor or customer-facing responsibilities.
• Communication: Full professional fluency in Korean and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-party technical documentation (RFIs, NCRs, Quality documentation) and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Safety: Familiarity with local EHS regulations and permitting requirements for large-scale construction sites.

• Prior experience with High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems or large-scale electrical infrastructure.
• National license (Industrial Engineer Industrial Safety).
• Demonstrated experience in Quality Control processes.
