Fluid Haul Drivers Class 1 (West of Cold Lake, Alberta)

COMEC Energy is currently seeking highly motivated Class 1 Operators (hydrovac, combo unit, water truck, vac truck, and pressure truck). This is a Cold Lake area-based position reporting to the Field Supervisor, with work taking place on a rotational schedule. Weekend availability and longer hours are expected. Both local and out-of-town applicants are welcome to apply.
Required Skills and Training:
3+ years of experience operating one or more of the unit types listed above.
Valid drivers' license: Class 1
Experience maintaining and performing pre-job inspections on the equipment being operated.
Ability to complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
Must actively participate in pre-job hazard assessments and adhere to company and client safety policies and procedures.
Previous experience in SAGD environments and service rig work is considered an asset.
Must pass pre-employment Alcohol & Drug screening.

• Must be willing to partake in ensuring our procedures are accurate and are mimicking what we are doing in the field.
• Must have experience with well servicing, facility work and tank cleaning
• Must possess valid CSO, H2S Alive, First Aid & TDG
• Having the following tickets is an asset: Confined Space, Fall Arrest & Ground Disturbance.
• Valid driver’s license with a minimum of Class 3
• Ability to complete all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Demonstration of ability to participate in all pre- job hazard assessments and inspections prior to commencing any job.
• Additional experience running pressure truck and Hydro vac is considered a huge asset.
• Must be willing to work flexible shifts and hours
• Clean driver’s abstract ( Please attach it with resume )
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test
