Environmental and Geotechnical Driller

GHD has an excellent opportunity for an Environmental and Geotechnical Driller to join our growing team of Drillers, working on projects throughout the greater Great Lake State Region. 

Responsibilities in this role will include:

• Preform drilling operations including but not limited to geotechnical and environmental drilling
• Perform drilling operation duties primarily related to environmental projects that include monitor well installation, gas probe installations, insitu injections, also some geotechnical projects

For success in this position, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• 5 years plus experience
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Good mechanical skills
• Familiar with Geoprobe 6600 and 7800 series track rigs helpful
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment
• Able and willing to travel overnight and perform field work, travel expenses covered
• Must have valid Driver License with acceptable violation history with a CDL and Chauffer’s endorsement
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Licensed as a driller in Michigan or others a plus but not necessary
