Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Graduate Environmental Scientist to join our team!

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Support environmental data collection, analysis, and reporting activities for client projects.
- Perform data processing, quality control, and validation of project information to ensure accuracy.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, and data tracking tools using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while also managing assigned tasks independently.
- Participate in fieldwork and site visits, including travel up to 25-50%, and work in various weather conditions.
- Support the GHD FIRST (Fast Incident Response Services Team) Emergency Response Program both remotely and in the field.
- Contribute to environmental, industrial hygiene, and remediation projects as needed.
What you will bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Physical Science, or a related field.
- 0-5 years of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, or other practical experience in environmental or engineering fields.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
- Conditional Formatting
- PivotTables
- Basic Dashboards
- Data Validation
- Lookup Functions
- Working Across Multiple Worksheets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Interest or experience in data processing and computer programming.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform quality control and review work for accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Interest in industrial hygiene and environmental remediation activities.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly and perform field-based work.
- Ability to work from or near one of GHD's preferred office locations, including King of Prussia, PA; Farmington Hills, MI; Golden, CO; Chicago, IL; Charlotte, NC; or Phoenix, AZ. Candidates located near other major GHD offices may also be considered.
