We’re excited to welcome a new Intermediate Environmental Professional (Scientist or Engineer) to our Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador office.

• In this role, you will join a multidisciplinary team delivering complex environmental assessment, remediation, and infrastructure projects across North America, including participation on a major local megaproject. Working under the guidance of senior technical practitioners and project managers, you will support the execution of Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), contaminated site investigations, remediation programs, environmental monitoring, and risk management initiatives. You will apply technical expertise to characterize environmental conditions, interpret analytical data, develop remedial solutions, and provide environmental advisory services to clients across a range of sectors.
• Client and Stakeholder Management: Support project managers and senior consultants in maintaining client relationships, coordinating project communications, responding to technical inquiries, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality environmental consulting services.
• Technical Practice Development: Actively participate in environmental communities of practice, technical working groups, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to build subject matter expertise in contaminated sites, hydrogeology, remediation, environmental compliance, and risk assessment.
• Data Collection, Interpretation, and Analysis: Conduct field investigations and environmental monitoring programs; compile, validate, interpret, and analyze environmental data, including soil, groundwater, sediment, soil vapour, and surface water datasets. Prepare technical memoranda, investigation reports, and recommendations using established methodologies and industry best practices.
• Environmental Engineering and Remediation Design: Support the development and implementation of environmental engineering and remediation solutions, including site investigation programs, remedial action plans, risk management measures, and performance monitoring programs. Assist with feasibility assessments, technology screening, and validation of remediation strategies.
• Professional Development and Technical Excellence: Maintain and expand technical knowledge of environmental regulations, contaminated sites legislation, industry standards, emerging technologies, and environmental assessment methodologies. Pursue ongoing professional development, professional registration, and participation in technical conferences and industry associations.
• Project Delivery and Management: Contribute to all phases of project execution, including scope development, work planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, health and safety compliance, quality management, and project reporting to support successful project outcomes.
• Business Development and Proposal Support: Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, cost estimates, work plans, and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and tender submissions. 

• →Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level.
• →5+ years of experience conducting Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments, environmental investigations, monitoring programs, and field-based data collection activities. 
• →Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and manage environmental and engineering data to support project planning, regulatory compliance, and technical reporting. 
• →Experience identifying environmental risks and developing practical mitigation strategies to support environmental stewardship and sustainable project outcomes. 
• →Proficiency using environmental and engineering tools, technologies, and software to support technical analysis, assessments, and project delivery. 
• →Strong commitment to health and safety, with experience working collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects while managing multiple priorities and client relationships.
