  • Maintain technical quality and foster innovation in modelling approaches and analytical tools.

Project Delivery

  • Manage multidisciplinary projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with transportation, planning, engineering, architecture, and operations teams across North America.

  • Conduct ingress, egress, queue management, emergency evacuation, passenger flow, and transport interface assessments.
  • Support risk-based operational planning and scenario testing through advanced simulation and analytics.
  • Collaborate with venue operators, transit agencies, event organizers, public-sector clients, and security stakeholders.

Business Development and Client Relationship Management

  • Build and strengthen relationships with transportation agencies, venue owners, event organizers, and public-sector clients throughout Southern California.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within transportation, major events, transit, aviation, and urban mobility markets.
  • Support proposal development, interviews, client presentations, and strategic pursuits.
  • Contribute to the growth of GHD's advisory and modelling capabilities across the Americas.

Team Development

  • Mentor and develop analysts and consultants.
  • Support recruitment and capability growth in the Los Angeles market.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on technical excellence and innovation.

What you will bring to the team:

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in crowd modelling, pedestrian simulation, transportation planning, passenger flow analysis, operational planning, or a related consulting field.
  • Experience leading complex technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work directly with clients and develop trusted-advisor relationships.
