About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and creative Team Leader - Architecture to provide architectural design leadership on complex, high-profile projects across a range of sectors. You will influence the design direction of major developments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and help deliver innovative, client-focused solutions that create lasting community benefit.
As a recognised technical and creative leader, you will guide teams through the design process, balancing design intent, technical excellence, commercial considerations and client expectations. You will also mentor emerging talent and strengthen design capability across the business.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead the development and delivery of complex architectural design solutions from concept through to implementation.
- →Establish and champion the design vision for major projects, maintaining quality, innovation and technical rigour.
- →Work closely with clients and project stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver exceptional outcomes.
- →Lead design reviews, feasibility studies and design validation activities.
- →Provide specialist advice on architectural design, construction practices, regulations and industry standards.
- →Support multidisciplinary teams, including BIM, technical and engineering specialists.
- →Contribute to winning work through technical input into proposals, tenders and client presentations.
- →Mentor and develop team members, sharing knowledge and fostering design excellence and continuous improvement.
- →Apply emerging technologies and industry best practice to strengthen project outcomes.
Requirements
~1 min read- A bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 10 years’ professional experience in architectural design
- Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and managing design delivery.
- Strong design, technical and problem-solving capability.
- Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
- Clear and compelling communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
- Experience using industry-standard design and BIM tools.
- Experience supervising people and resources to deliver agreed outcomes.
