Responsibilities

Develops and executes reporting to allow risk and business partners to effectively identify and manage risk in an effective manner

Identifies trends and manages the data design, portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics to ensure alignment with business strategies

Participates in various product strategic initiatives affecting multiple risk functions and lines of business to ensure company goals are met

Facilitates the development of database production processes and performance reports for senior management, using data mining and other advanced analytical techniques to aggregate data

Responds to complex ad-hoc requests for information from both internal and external parties

Coordinates cross-functional efforts to remediate data quality issues

Manages the outputs of controls and investigates alerts from the control checks
Global Risk Analytics (GRA) is a sub-line of business within Global Risk Management (GRM), responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models, analytical tools, and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. GRA partners with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities it builds address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing its activities, GRA drives innovation, process improvement and automation.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, including but not limited to Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.

5+ years of relevant work experience

Data Analytics & Visualization: Utilizes advanced analytical techniques, Tableau, and data visualization tools to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights, executive-ready reporting, and actionable business recommendations.
Data Management & Engineering: Designs and manages scalable data solutions through expert SQL development, large-scale data management, data transformation, and efficient use of diverse data storage environments.
Data Architecture & Advanced Analytics: Applies deep expertise in data architecture, data modeling, data science tools, machine learning capabilities, and analytical methodologies to support complex business and risk management solutions.
Technical Development & Automation: Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel and automation skills to build scalable analytical solutions, optimize queries to improve efficiency, and manage large-scale datasets efficiently.
Insight Generation & Storytelling: Translates large and complex datasets into clear, visually compelling narratives that highlight trends, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations for executive audiences.
