Who You'll Work With 

You will join ghSMART’s global team of leadership advisers, working as part of the Australia office to partner with high-ambition clients on their key talent priorities, exclusively at the top-of-the-house. As the global gold standard in leadership advisory, you will partner with some of the world’s most influential executives– bringing rigorous, data-driven insights and acting as their trusted counsellor in the leadership moments that matter. 

This is a fully remote role based in Australia, with travel to client sites as required
As a Senior Principal at ghSMART you will:  
  • Partner with corporate and private equity clients to assess, develop, and coach investors, CEOs, and c-suite executives across functions, geographies, and portfolio companies. 
  • Lead engagements at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and complex influencing, bringing both analytical insight and interpersonal agility.  
  • Elevate the quality of leadership, through powerful, targeted insights that move the needle on executive capability, team effectiveness, and CEO succession. 
  • Build and sustain trusted, long-term relationships with executive clients, becoming one of the first people they call to wrestle with their leadership growth and professional challenges.

  • Engage with leading global IP, including three bestselling books and over 50 articles in esteemed journals (e.g., HBR, Wharton).

  • MBA with relevant strategy consulting experience, or PhD / registered organisational psychologist (typically 7+ years of experience).  
  • Exceptional ability to build and sustain relationships with senior-level clients.  
  • Strong analytical capabilities to generate insights from complex data sets.  
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple client projects.  
  • A strongtrack record of success in leadership advisory, management consulting, or a related field.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to executive audiences.  
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for how leadership can elevate the performance of organisations.
