Spacewalk is a one-person service, supporting someone who loves being active. Parks, the gym, trampolines, slides, bouncy castles, walks and rollercoasters are all favourites.

We’re looking for someone energetic and enthusiastic who enjoys going out, getting involved and helping someone make the most of every day.

We are recruiting for Support Workers for our Service based in Plymouth.

Are you experienced in working with individuals who have a Learning Disability and Complex needs? We are searching for a team of highly skilled and passionate individuals to assist someone in embarking on a new chapter in their life. This role is both demanding and incredibly fulfilling, as you will play a crucial part in helping this person strive for their best life. Your responsibilities will encompass supporting them in participating in all the activities they find enjoyable, while fostering their independence to the fullest extent.

Possessing a valid driver's license will be advantageous.

• The people we support are at the heart of everything we do. By actively engaging with them, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of their relationships and connections within their local community
• Your organisation and attention to detail will be crucial as you complete and maintain Support Plans and other necessary information that supports our people and ensures the delivery of effective support.
• You will have a voice in notifying the Team Leader/Senior Support Worker of any changes you observe in the needs of the individuals we support, contributing to their continued well-being.
• Safeguarding the welfare of those in our care is paramount, and you will actively promote and maintain their safety
• Help the people we support to maintain and develop relationships with family, friends and other people important in their life
