Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead the design and development of magnetic components and assemblies.
- →Perform electrical, magnetic, thermal, and mechanical analysis to develop innovative solutions.
- →Partner with customers to understand technical requirements and deliver high-performance designs.
- →Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Sales teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- →Support new product introductions, prototype development, qualification testing, and production launches.
- →Drive product improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- →Troubleshoot technical, manufacturing, and quality challenges through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- →Mentor and support fellow engineers while serving as a key technical resource within the organization.
At TT Electronics, we design and manufacture advanced magnetic solutions that power aerospace, defense, industrial, and commercial applications around the world. We're looking for a Senior Magnetics Design Engineer to join our Engineering team and play a key role in developing innovative products that solve complex customer challenges.
In this role, you'll lead the design and development of transformers, inductors, reactors, chokes, and other magnetic components, partnering with customers and cross-functional teams to bring products from concept through production. You'll have the opportunity to influence product performance, improve manufacturability, and support the next generation of power and magnetics technologies.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience designing transformers, inductors, reactors, or other magnetic components.
- Strong knowledge of electromagnetic, thermal, mechanical, and electrical design principles.
- Experience leading product development efforts from concept through production.
- Ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
