This role is responsible for supporting the Estimating team with tendering activities and documentation while ensuring accuracy, compliance and alignment with client's standards.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Interpret tender documentation to understand client requirements and expectations
- Prepare detailed trade take-offs for Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Review and interpret specifications within tender documents
- Identify key risks and opportunities within each tender
- Develop accurate direct cost estimates, including overheads and final pricing schedules
- Review and understand all subcontractor quotations, including inclusions and exclusions
- Ensure all tender submissions are completed within required deadlines
- Conduct final reviews of tender documents prior to submission
- Participate in post-project completion reviews
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the master resource library
- Maintain accurate and organized tender files, including all correspondence and documentation
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing tender packages are properly recorded and filed
- Manage internal and external documents within the tendering process
Requirements

- Education

- Healthcare
- Aged Care
- Office developments

Demonstrated experience in estimating for:
- New builds
- Fit-outs
- Refurbishments
- Remediation projects
Requirements

- Trade background with substantial experience in an estimating role
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
