Read/work from drawing and schematic diagrams
Use volt-ohm meter and megger

Responsibilities

→Install, trouble shoot and repair a variety of complex electrical systems and electronic devices
→Keep electrical components of melt systems functioning
→Perform work to National electrical code
→Perform Continuous Improvement initiatives
→May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills
→Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required
→Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
→Call-in/overtime when required
→The position will work a schedule of Friday - Sunday (3x12) 7:00am - 7:00pm (4th shift)

Must have a strong attendance record
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to work hours outside of the regular shift
Must have good mechanical aptitude
Must be able to wear a respirator
The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
