Responsibilities

  • →Manage subcontractor activities, including coordination of deliverables, schedules, and performance outcomes.
  • →Conduct subcontractor status reviews and maintain visibility of risks, issues, and performance metrics.
  • →Support supplier performance management activities, including monitoring, reporting, and improvement initiatives.
  • →Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, Commercial and Procurement teams to ensure alignment and delivery outcomes.
  • →Support vendor onboarding, due diligence, and supplier capability assessments.
  • →Administer subcontract deliverables, including Contractor Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and reporting.
  • →Support calibration subcontract administration and compliance activities.
  • →Contribute to governance processes ensuring adherence to contractual, regulatory, and company requirements.
  • →Perform advanced inventory management activities, including analysis, reconciliation, and optimisation across multiple systems.
  • →Develop and maintain reporting on inventory performance, supplier performance, and subcontractor status.
  • →Analyse trends, risks, and opportunities to improve supply chain performance and data integrity.
  • →Contribute to maintenance of supply chain data repositories and management information systems.
  • →Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex supply chain issues.
  • →Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on supply support and inventory management activities.
  • →Identify and implement improvements to processes, systems, and reporting.
  • →Travel may be required within Australia to fulfil the requirements of this role.
  • →Other duties as deemed relevant to program and operational requirements.
     

Requirements

  • A University Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of relevant supply chain or logistics experience.
  • Demonstrated experience is required in: 
  • Experience in inventory management and supplier or subcontractor management.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
  • Practical knowledge of Defence or complex supply chain environments.
  • Exposure to inventory optimisation and warehousing environments.
