Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Experience spraying with paint guns
Experience with applying coatings to metal in paint booths
Experience with prepping (taping, applying plastic covers, filling in holes etc.)
Experience painting in a commercial setting: Cars, Boats, Aircraft

DoD Clearance: Secret

Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Responsibilities

→Prepare surfaces to be painted by cleaning, masking, and sanding.
→Apply paint to surface of the part using spray gun.
→Able to adjust paint gun to maximize transfer efficiency and teach others.
→Able to clean and maintain spray equipment.
→Ensures manometers, filters, ovens and all equipment meet specification requirements.
→Understands spray patterns, angles and distance to part.
→Understands racking and hanging techniques.
→Learn to accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
→Accurately completes required documentation.
→Responsible for quality product standards with no defects.
→Meet customer deadlines.
→Store, handle, use and dispose of hazardous chemicals in accordance with federal, state laws.
→Maintain a clean work environment.
→Responsible to comply with applicable elements of quality systems.
→Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events, as required.
→Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
→Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
→Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-instruct as required.
→Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
→Other duties as assigned.
