Principal Engineer, Software Engineering

• Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Avionics or Aerospace Engineering or related field and 8 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or related role. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Avionics or Aerospace Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role would be acceptable.
• Must possess at least 5 years of experience developing software using any of the high level programming languages in Safety Critical Embedded software development For e.g. C, C++, Python and experience using MATLAB and Simulink as modeling and simulation tools.
• Must possess at least 5 years of DO-178B/C development experience.
• Must possess at least 5 years of experience in the Avionics industry.
• Must possess at least 2 years of experience leading a project.

• →Determine end-user needs by analyzing system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements and input data acquisition. Ensure hardware and software standards are met.
• →Design and implement build procedures that are used to support hardware and software product development and use. Design, develop, document, test and design control and diagnostic systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
