Principal Specialist -Tariff Mitigation, Data and Automation

• →In this role, you will be part of the Collins Aerospace central tariff mitigation team with a focus on data analytics and automation opportunities. You will manage data related to tariff impacts and mitigation efforts while supporting the development and deployment of automation solutions to streamline processes. Key responsibilities include:
• →Collect, analyze, and interpret large, complex datasets to provide actionable insights.
• →Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making using Power BI.
• →Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform business strategies.
• →Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, supply chain, and finance, to define business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• →Define data structures, compile data from multiple databases, and establish master data to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• →Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using data insights and tools.
• →Support digital transformation initiatives by leveraging data analytics and automating repetitive tasks.
• →Create predictive and statistical models to anticipate future outcomes and support strategic decision-making.
• →Provide insights to support strategic planning, forecasting, and performance measurement.

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 to 9 years of experience .
• Experience in data analysis and reporting, including working with large datasets and creating actionable insights.
• Experience utilizing Power BI to create dashboards and reports.
• Experience defining data structures, compiling data from multiple databases, and ensuring data accuracy.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Programming experience in Python, VBA, or SQL.
• Knowledge of database management systems and SAP.
• Prior work experience in data analytics for continuous improvement.
• Experience identifying process improvement opportunities.
