Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Reliable, Maintainable, and delivered on time.  Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers.  Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation.  This job is ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon’s McKinney, Texas facility.

What You Will Do:

Support the program in the Failure Reporting And Corrective Action (FRACAS) process for product production and/or sustainment
Support development of Built-In test (BIT), reliability/maintainability/testability and diagnostic associated requirements as required
Help define failure modes and their effects on systems
Collaborate with hardware/software design teams to identify and resolve non-conformances

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically Requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience with Failure Reporting and Corrective Action (FRACAS) process for product production and/or sustainment
Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

Product testing and troubleshooting in the factory/depot or field environment
Working within cross-disciplinary teams
Presenting data to internal or external customers
Reliability/maintainability/testability analysis tools (e.g. Reliasoft Tool Suite, DSI eXpress, or Windchill)
Interpreting interfaces between hardware and software
EW/Radar/EO-IR system experience
Software/firmware development and implementation
Diagnostic dependency modeling
Experience working in the DoD customer community (US Army, US Air Force, US Navy)
