  • Active and in scope Top Secret clearance a plus or the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Contractual acumen with demonstrated proficiency in contracts fundamentals
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • Familiarity with Other Transaction Agreements, Intellectual Property, license agreements, or teaming agreements
  • Experience working in a fast-paced competitive environment
  • Proven record of responsiveness with strong time management and organizational skills

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst, Contracts supporting the Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors (AISS) sub‑strategic business unit within the Advanced Technology organization.

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Contract Portfolio Lead, the selected individual will serve as a Senior Analyst, Contracts assisting with complex and vast portfolio of contracts and proposals across the Advanced Technology landscape. Key responsibilities include assisting with strategic contractual guidance and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to address a wide range of business, contractual, and programmatic matters.

 

You will need to utilize regular application of strong business acumen and subject matter expertise to understand program performance requirements, support contractual and negotiation strategy, provide guidance, and influence results in support of program and financial objectives. Additionally, you will be required to work closely with Program Management leadership, the Office of General Counsel, and cross-functional peers in support of program gate reviews, program management reviews, business strategy sessions, proposal reviews, risk management activities, and all other contractual related matters affecting the portfolio.

 

The successful candidate will work with both internal and external customers to ensure successful program performance and influence outcomes to achieve desired results. The successful candidate must have a track record of success managing contracts, familiarity with legal terms, attention to detail, leadership aptitude and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

  • →Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), proposal reviews and coordination, contract negotiation, support program management and executive reviews and general contract administration.
  • →Work closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Engineers, Finance, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts.
  • →Identify, mitigate, and drive resolution of contractual issues as they may arise.
  • →Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies.
  • →Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, rights and obligations, and possible mitigation of contractual and programmatic risks.
  • →Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and internal partners.
  • →Interface with customers for correspondence, contractual changes, and contractual issues.


  • →Contracting with multiple Government and non-Government customers via traditional and non-traditional contract vehicles.
  • →Taking an active role in the growth of yourself and others to meet both career and organizational goals.

Work Location: The position is primarily onsite in Tewksbury, MA, with the potential for a hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence up to several days per week, to be coordinated with the supervisor.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
