HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience with testing equipment and/or software in a manufacturing environment.
Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Experience producing presentations of status, issues, and actions.
Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience in troubleshooting electronic systems and equipment at a component level using schematics, test equipment and technical procedures

The Test Technician will be responsible for conducting tests on electronic and mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, document test procedures, and maintain test equipment.

*This position will work on-site at our McKinney, TX location, working 2nd Shift.*

Responsibilities

→Conduct functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems.
→Troubleshoot and resolve test failures and anomalies.
→Document test procedures and results accurately.
→Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test processes and methodologies.
→Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
→Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
→Generate reports on test status, issues, and actions.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
