Raytheon Polska is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as a Supply Chain Specialist. This position is in Warszawa, Poland and does have an estimated 5 – 10% in country travel.
The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Operations and Supply Chain Team with the day-to-day support, administration, and coordination of activities and efforts related to Polska infrastructure and supporting Polish Supply Base requirements. The Supply Chain Specialist will support the Poland organization across supplier sourcing, qualification and onboarding, indirect procurement, supplier capability development, and day-to-day Supply Chain and Program activities. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders and Polish suppliers to ensure procurement and supplier activities are executed in accordance with corporate requirements and support current and future business needs.
This position requires fluent bi-lingual communication skills in Polish and English, effective project management skills and understanding of differences in business and national cultures between U.S. and Polish defense companies. The SCS will assist OSC and Program Office with coordination between the various reporting, planning, and execution.
This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Management Team but will further provide assistance to the Integrated Product Team leads. This role will regularly interact with senior Raytheon leadership and interface with major partners and customers.
Responsibilities

- →Assist the Program Office in planning and coordinating activities, events, and trade shows.
- →Co-develop meeting materials/presentations and ensure meeting minutes are captured
- →Assist Supply Chain and Operations in various duties related to Polish Supplier scope
- →Establish and maintain strong relationships with program personnel, customers, and subcontractors
- →Create and manage Polish Supplier Capability matrix
- →Lead and execute indirect procurement activities supporting Raytheon Polska operations and business requirements, in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
- →Identify, source, and evaluate Polish suppliers, including market research, RFQs/RFPs, quotation analysis, commercial coordination, and supplier capability assessment.
- →Manage supplier due diligence, qualification, onboarding, and registration, ensuring required documentation, compliance screening, and internal approvals are completed.
- →Develop and maintain a Polish Supplier Capability Matrix to provide visibility of local capabilities, expertise, capacity, and potential opportunities for current and future programs.
- →Manage supplier relationships and act as a key liaison between Polish suppliers, local stakeholders, and corporate functions, resolving procurement, onboarding, delivery, and operational issues.
- →Support Supply Chain, Operations, and Program teams with supplier development, capability building, data gathering, and coordination of local industrial opportunities.
- →Coordinate supplier and stakeholder meetings, trade shows, events, and business engagements, including agendas, presentations, meeting minutes, and action tracking.
- →Develop and support preparation of presentations, briefings, reports, and other program and business documentation.
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program teams to ensure effective execution of procurement and supplier activities.
- →Track procurement and supplier actions, approvals, and deliverables, ensuring timely follow-up, escalation, and closure.
Requirements
~2 min read- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience
- Experience in solving supply chain issues and outcomes
- Experience with Polish Suppliers to drive new business solutions
- Experience planning, controlling and directing activities with suppliers and/or customers
- Polish and English bilingual communication skills
- Master’s degree and/or additional professional certifications
- Experience in working with foreign suppliers
- Knowledge of international supply base
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills; ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others
