German Language Teacher in Hamburg, Germany

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a German (DaF) Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client in Hamburg.

• Student: 1 adult (male)

• Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's workplace near the Rödingsmarkt metro station in Hamburg-Mitte, Hamburg (20459)

• Preferred start date: The week of November 2nd, 2026

• Availability: He is, in general, available from Monday to Thursday mornings, around 9 am. However, the specific day needs to be decided on a weekly basis with the teacher.

• Lesson Frequency: Once per week.

• Lesson Duration: 60 minutes per session.

• Current German level: Advanced (C1).

• Native and other spoken languages: Spanish (native), English, German and Portuguese.

• Student’s language needs and goals: Improve Business German and reduce grammar mistakes.

  Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

  Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

  Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
