Global Placement Firm is proud to partner with a renowned Level II Trauma Center in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, in search of an experienced and inspiring Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Manager.

This is a leadership opportunity for a dynamic and passionate RN leader who thrives in critical care and is ready to guide an exceptional team in delivering world-class patient-centered care.

The ICU Nurse Manager ensures high-quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the daily operations and clinical performance of the Intensive Care Unit. This leader promotes excellence in nursing practice, fosters a culture of accountability, and champions continuous improvement to enhance patient safety, outcomes, and satisfaction.

Youll work hand-in-hand with department leaders to maintain the highest standards of critical care and inspire your team to achieve exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction for the ICU team, ensuring consistent delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care.

  • Monitor and evaluate clinical practices to maintain adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient department operations.

  • Support interdisciplinary collaboration and effective patient throughput from admission to discharge.

  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

  • Inspire staff engagement through transparent leadership, mentorship, and recognition of excellence.

  • Partner with executive leadership to align departmental goals with organizational objectives and mission.

  • Manage department budgets, operating expenses, and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies without compromising quality.

    Salary Range: $95,000 $105,000 (Exceptional candidates may be considered up to $108,000 - $110,000 based on experience)
