Responsibilities

Administer comprehensive respiratory care procedures for patients of all ages.

Set up and operate acute care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation.

Monitor patient status and respond to changes promptly and appropriately.

Accurately document respiratory care in the electronic medical record.

Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments, devices, and recovery plans.
→
Collaborate with healthcare teams to create individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
→
Maintain department and hospital records with precision.
→
Function independently when Team Leader is unavailable.
