Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any relevant field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly preferred
- Minimum of 6+ years of external/financial audit experience (required)
- Must have completed at least 15 Employee Benefit Plan (EBP/401k) audits within a single busy season (required)
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience handling engagements within healthcare, manufacturing, and/or distribution industries is a plus
- Proficiency in advanced Excel tools, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Amenable to a hybrid work setup
- Willing to work on a night shift schedule
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Gain a strong understanding of the firm's policies, procedures, and audit methodology
- →Perform audit and accounting procedures as required for client engagements
- →Ensure completion of engagements, including compilations, reviews, and compliance work
- →Monitor engagement progress and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
- →Deliver engagements on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations
- →Prepare clear, accurate, and well-documented working papers and financial statements
- →Identify areas of risk and provide recommendations to improve client operations
- →Build and maintain strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams
- →Supervise, mentor, and guide staff and senior accountants on engagements
- →Review work outputs to ensure quality and compliance with professional standards
- →Manage multiple engagements and priorities simultaneously
- →Identify opportunities to provide additional or value-added services to clients
- →Support business development efforts, including client retention and cross-selling services
- →Stay updated on AICPA standards, FASB pronouncements, and industry developments
- →Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions
- →Perform other related duties as required, including working extended hours during peak periods
