In 2020, G Mining Ventures (GMIN) was created to acquire direct ownership of projects and capitalize on the value uplift that successful mine development offers. In July 2024, GMIN has acquired the Oko West project. The Oko West Project is a new gold discovery in northwest Guyana. It is located south of the historical “Oko” gold district, some 95 km west of Georgetown.
To ensure the achievement of this large-scale project, G Mining Ventures is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of:
Electrician
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, codes, and electrical specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.
- Pull wiring through conduit and through holes in walls and floor.
- Install and hooks to support electrical equipment.
- Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures, electrical control and distribution equipment such as switches, relays, panels, electrical equipment such as switches, relays, and switch panels.
- Perform splicing, joining and connecting wires and fittings to form circuits.
- Perform continuous testing of circuits using appropriate equipment to ensure the compatibility and safety of systems.

Qualifications/Skills and Experience
- Technical certificate and or on the job experience

- Ability to work at Heights and in varied weather conditions.
- Availability to work in camps and on rotation 14 days on site 7 days off site.
