Field Service Technician

We're looking for awesome, energetic and tech savvy individuals looking to boost their technical career and join our team as Field Service Technician. 

This role entails operating, repairing and maintaining equipment and systems belonging to the TV & Radio Networks. As long as you’re willing to learn, this position is a great opportunity to grow and develop yourself within a fast-paced environment! 

• Post-secondary technical qualification ideally coupled with a proper grasp of radio and wireless technologies. On the job training will be provided. 
• Outgoing Personality. 
• A valid driving license – required to drive a Company car. 
• The ability to occasionally work after office hours and on-call roster duties. 

• Comfortable working at heights. Although prior experience in this aspect is desirable, it is to be noted that applicants will be given all due training and will be appropriately certified to work at heights. 
• Electricity Installation, Alteration, Extension and Certification of Electrical Wirings and Fittings (Electrician Authorisation - A). 

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities – 

• →To carry out and ensure appropriate Mobile and D-TV preventive maintenance as per defined procedures. 
• →To ensure that all maintenance documentation records are duly filled as per procedure. 
• →To carry out remedial maintenance work in a timely and efficient manner. 
• →To perform adjustments and reconfiguration activities at radio sites as per work orders and when required. 
• →To supervise and facilitate subcontractors in the execution of subcontracted duties. 
• →To Attend at Customer sites to assist in fault clarification and rectification.
