Responsibilities

→Receiving and storing inventory delivered to the warehouse
→Staging and sorting of items, palletizing, and crating
→Provide regular reports on warehouse performance and key metrics (SLAs) to the operations leadership
→Move, pick, pack, and scan items in a safe manner
→Use of tools including but not limited to scanners, carts, hand trucks and dollies
→Daily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate fashion
→Follow all 5S processes consistently and effectively
→Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
→Train new employees on company standards and procedures
→Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates
→Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity
→Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback
→Ensure accurate inventory management, including stock counts and reconciliations
→Implement and maintain warehouse processes and procedures to maximize efficiency
→Enforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
→Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing goods
→Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, account management, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve issues
→Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners

Requirements

Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Proficient in warehouse management software and the Google Suite
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Having a valid forklift license would be an asset
