We are looking for a talented and driven individual who shares our values to join our team as Financial Controller. Reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller for our Services Division. The Financial Controller will provide leadership and oversight of Coreas Auto Supplies Limited, Corea & Co (1988) Limited, Coreas Pharmacies Limited and Coreas Hazells Inc., whilst providing accounting services support to Coreas Building Supplies Limited., whilst providing accounting services support to Coreas Building Supplies Limited., ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, effective financial controls and sound cost management. The role will also provide financial insights to support informed decision-making and broader business objectives.

The Financial Controller will be expected to bring strong technical expertise, sound judgement, integrity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Qualified Accountant and member of a recognized professional body.

  • Advanced knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management in a similar role, preferably in the retail sector.

  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

  • Proven experience leading teams.

  • Experience with financial software; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience would be an asset.

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and lead a high-performing Finance team.

  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, with sound financial judgement.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax legislation, statutory requirements and financial compliance standards.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling and financial reporting tools.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a strong focus on financial integrity and controls.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in accounting and financial management systems, with working knowledge of Adagio or a similar accounting platform.
