About the Role
~1 min readThis Health Administration internship is designed for students whose interests and career goals lie in the business operational side of healthcare, not just the clinical delivery of care. It is designed to introduce the student to a variety of non-clinical elements that go into operating a senior living facility, including sales, environmental services, food service, programming, financial management, and communicating with stakeholders. The student will also have the opportunity to understand how these disciplines interact with the clinical team to support meeting the overall needs of each resident.
This program is 2 days a week for 15-weeks (120 hours) beginning the week of January 11 and culminating on April 23. Interns will be required to submit all necessary onboarding documents and attend an in-person/all-day orientation on January 6.
Interns will receive a stipend, a resident mentor, and 2-3 professional development workshops with our leadership team.
