SecurTec Montgomery, AL (with regular travel to other installations across Alabama) Compensation equivalent to or exceeding GS-11 Step 5 / WG-5 Step 3 Full-time | Monday–Friday core hours, with occasional evenings and weekends for training and exercises About This Role This position serves as SecurTec's lead Anti-Terrorism subject matter expert in support of a National Guard installation in Alabama. The ATPC is based at Joint Forces Headquarters (JFHQ) in Montgomery, with regular travel to additional installations across the state, including Ft. McClellan, Clarke Range, and Mobile. Position Summary The Anti-Terrorism Program Coordinator (ATPC) is responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and continuously improving a comprehensive Anti-Terrorism (AT) program that fully aligns with DoD, Army, ARNG, and State of Alabama requirements. The ATPC serves as the day-to-day point of contact for the AT program and integrates AT measures across Installation Entry Control, Visitor Control, and roving security operations. This is a senior-level role requiring strong leadership, deep subject matter expertise, and the ability to brief and advise senior military leadership. Key Responsibilities Serve as the lead AT advisor to the Cooperative Agreement Program Manager, Senior Security Guard Manager, and installation commanders Develop, maintain, and update the Anti-Terrorism Plan, Random Anti-Terrorism Measures Program (RAMP), and associated contingency plans Plan, coordinate, and execute Levels I–V Anti-Terrorism training for security personnel and supporting units Conduct annual vulnerability assessments, pre-deployment AT assessments, and program reviews Organize and chair the Anti-Terrorism Working Group / Threat Working Group Provide expert input on AT-related resource requirements, MILCON project reviews, and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) prioritization Integrate AT measures into daily gate operations, visitor control, commercial vehicle inspections, and roving patrols Maintain all AT program documentation in the ARNG digital repository and ensure full compliance with AR 190-13, AR 525-13, DA Pam 190-13, and applicable ARNG guidance Support exercise development, attack warning systems, and emergency evacuation drills Identify and support High Risk Personnel (HRP) protection requirements Deliver real-time threat analysis and recommendations to enhance force protection posture Perform additional AT duties as assigned Requirements Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in military or National Guard physical security and anti-terrorism operations At least 3 years of direct experience in Installation Entry Control (IEC), Visitor Control Center (VCC), and Commercial Vehicle Inspection operations Current Anti-Terrorism Officer (Level II) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire Active SECRET security clearance, or the ability to obtain one Thorough knowledge of DoD, Army, and ARNG force protection and anti-terrorism directives Proven experience developing SOPs, conducting vulnerability assessments, and managing AT programs at the installation or state level Alabama armed security guard license, or the ability to obtain immediately High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or related field strongly preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to brief senior military leadership Valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to respond to JFHQ within one hour of notification Physical & Work Requirements Full-time, 40 hours per week, with occasional evenings and weekends for training or exercises Must successfully pass the Adjutant General's Physical Agility Test (PAT) and maintain physical readiness Ability to travel throughout Alabama as required Must meet all medical, drug testing, and background screening requirements Benefits Compensation Compensation for this role is set at a level equivalent to or exceeding GS-11 Step 5 (or WG-5 Step 3 equivalent), commensurate with the complexity and responsibility of the position.
