Quick Summary
The Senior Account Manager / Team Leader combines responsibility for selected customer accounts with the day-to-day leadership and coordination of the Account Management team.
The role ensures strong customer relationships, sustainable commercial performance and effective cross-functional execution, while supporting the development, prioritization and performance of the Account Management team.
The position works closely with the Head of Account Management and acts as deputy when required.
Responsibilities

Own and develop assigned customer accounts, acting as the main commercial contact and building strong, long-term customer relationships.

Understand customer strategies, business priorities and future demand, and translate them into account plans, forecasts and internal actions.

Manage the commercial performance of assigned accounts, including sales, profitability, pricing, quotations and commercial negotiations.

Coordinate customer requirements and key topics across Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance and other functions.

Identify growth opportunities and commercial risks and ensure appropriate actions and timely escalation.

Drive customer satisfaction and continuous improvement through proactive communication and structured follow-up.

Coordinate and support the Account Management team in achieving agreed business objectives and KPIs.

Coach Account Managers, provide day-to-day guidance and support their professional development and effective decision-making.

Ensure appropriate prioritization, workload balance and account allocation within the team.

Promote consistent Account Management processes, reporting standards and best practices.

Ensure important customer, commercial and operational risks are visible and appropriately addressed together with the Head of Account Management.

Support effective cross-functional cooperation and act as deputy for the Head of Account Management within delegated authority.

Sales, Project or Operational experience (3 years experience preferably in the EMS industry)
