Role Overview: This role involves administering treatments, interpreting telemetry data, coordinating care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety.

Requirements:

Two (2) years of experience required.
Community Hospital experience required.
One (1) year of EPIC charting experience required.
Medication System: Omnicell
Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
Active SC RN license required.
First-time Travelers – 3 years’ experience within specialty required.

Required Clinical Skills:

IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs
Respiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen tanks
Genitourinary/Renal
Gastrointestinal: Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management
Medications: Heparin, Insulin
Isolation Precautions/PPE
Work Settings: Med/Surg, Orthopedics
Plastics

Schedule:

Shift hours: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other
Required Float based on need.
