We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to join our Accounting team in Dubrovnik.

The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting activities, month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciliations, reporting, and other finance-related activities while working closely with local and international colleagues.

• →Perform general ledger accounting activities and maintain accurate accounting records
• →Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• →Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations
• →Process and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting adjustments
• →Support intercompany reconciliations and settlement of outstanding balances
• →Assist with bank and account reconciliations
• →Review invoices and supporting accounting documentation
• →Support VAT, tax, statutory reporting, and audit requirements as needed
• →Prepare supporting documentation and explanations for internal and external auditors
• →Monitor open accounting items and follow up with relevant departments
• →Cooperate with colleagues from other finance teams and international offices
• →Participate in process improvements and other ad hoc accounting and finance projects

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Previous accounting experience is preferred
• Good understanding of general accounting principles
• Strong Excel skills
• Good working knowledge of written and spoken English
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively during month-end and year-end closing periods
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn

The base salary range for this role is €25,000 – €27,000 annually. Final compensation may vary and will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills and internal equity.
