About the Green School Educator Experience

Position Criteria
To be competitive for this talent pool, you should demonstrate excellence in the following areas:
Professionalism and Cultural Competency
- Regenerative Worldview: Lives and teaches from a regenerative worldview; skilled in designing learning that restores, re-patterns, and renews, whether through community projects, biomimicry, or narrative reframing.
- Holistic Integration: A master of weaving skills, values, and student wellbeing programs directly into daily learning experiences.
- Authentic Assessment: Monitors, assesses, records, and reports student learning outcomes using comprehensive systems of authentic and holistic assessment.
- Courageous & Reflective: Courageous in interrogating systems of power and reproduction and committed to a growth mindset, reflecting critically upon professional experiences to enhance effectiveness.
- Relational Focus: Cultivates classrooms as living communities where difference is honored; consistent in establishing and nurturing relationships with students, peers, parents, and the wider community.
- English Proficiency: Possesses a high level of English proficiency (required for instruction).
- Cross-Cultural Engagement: Prior expatriate teaching or working experience is strongly preferred, with evidence of cultural integration, competency, and language acquisition.
- Bahasa Indonesia: Must be willing to learn and communicate in Bahasa Indonesia.
Other Requirements (by Indonesian Law)
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required for the work visa process in Indonesia
- Bachelor’s in relevant field + teaching license or certificate
- Must be able to pass a HIV test (legally required).
- Must not have any previous criminal convictions (legally required).
- Must not have any Child Protection concerns on file at previous schools or workplaces.
- Must be able to provide an original copy of certifications, transcripts, diploma and/or degrees (legally required).
- Any successful candidate must be willing to learn and communicate in Bahasa Indonesia.
