Are you the kind of person who spots a strong YouTube angle before everyone else? π―
We're looking for a YouTube Product Manager Intern to join our French-speaking team. You'll work alongside an experienced team and progressively take ownership of your own channels, with one simple goal: understand YouTube better than the competition and find what works before they do. π
This is not a traditional content creator internship. You'll learn how to build YouTube channels as real products: finding the right opportunities, launching them, producing at scale, ranking for the searches that matter, analysing performance and constantly testing.
π Our playing field is iGaming, mainly online casino. It is one of the most competitive markets on the internet, which is exactly what makes it interesting.
Our business model is affiliate marketing: our channels send viewers to the brands we work with, and we get paid when they sign up. This makes performance very concrete. You rank, you get traffic, you generate sign-ups.
The role
Your work starts well before the first video: identifying opportunities in the French-speaking market through keywords, search intent, competitors and content angles. Then you turn that research into channels and videos.
In practice, your work will revolve around five things:
- Find opportunities: keywords, search intent, competitors and channel angles
- Build and produce: launch channels, develop ideas, scripts, voice-overs, thumbnails and publish videos
- Rank: build YouTube SEO-driven content strategies and optimise titles, thumbnails and hooks
- Analyse: rankings, CTR, retention, traffic and conversions
- Test and adapt: run experiments, understand the results and decide what to try next
You'll use AI and automation throughout the workflow and learn how to operate within YouTube's policies and the constraints of a regulated industry.
Most of your tests will not work. That's normal, and it's an important part of the job. What matters to us is your ability to understand why something works or doesn't, and then adjust quickly.
Who we're looking for
We care much more about your curiosity and the way you think than your degree or previous experience. We're not looking for someone who already knows how to do everything. We're looking for someone who wants to understand how YouTube works and who can become very good, very quickly.
The people who fit well here are usually heavy YouTube users who naturally notice why one video performs better than another. They prefer testing over guessing, are comfortable with numbers, and don't get discouraged when a test fails: they want to understand what it teaches them. They're resourceful and look for solutions themselves rather than waiting to be told what to do.
On the practical side:
- You have some experience with video editing or content creation
- You understand the basics of SEO, or you are genuinely interested in learning it
- You already use AI tools and enjoy experimenting with new ones
- Native French, as you will write and record voice-overs for a French audience
- Good English, as it is the working language of the team
A strong plus: you've already launched a YouTube channel, website, social media account or another digital project. It didn't work? No problem. What matters to us is what you tried and what you learned from it.
What you'll get
πͺ Real responsibility β not an internship where you just watch other people work
π Support and training β you'll work with an experienced YouTube team
π οΈ Tools and data β several years of internal automation, processes and market data
π― Progressive autonomy β the more you show you can make good decisions, the more responsibility you get
π° β¬1,000 / month
π Full remote β with at least 4 hours of overlap with Bangkok working hours
π 35 hours / week, flexible schedule
What happens after the internship?
Our teams are young and built much more around performance than seniority. Several of our current Team Leads started at GreenTomatoMedia as interns. π
This internship is designed as a way into the team, not as a temporary standalone assignment. Our YouTube department is continuing to grow, and interns who perform well are regularly offered permanent positions at the end of their internship.
From there, growth can happen quickly: more channels, ownership of a full portfolio, new markets, and eventually managing a team. π
GreenTomatoMedia
We're a digital media company with more than 1,500 websites across 8 languages, several million visitors every month and a fast-growing YouTube department.
We don't work with clients or agency briefs. We build and grow our own products and brands, which means fast decisions, plenty of room to experiment, and the ability to directly see the impact of your ideas.
Our team brings together more than 45 nationalities π and we believe a good idea should win because it works, regardless of who came up with it.
The hiring process
- HR interview β background, experience and motivation
- Practical test β a real YouTube growth problem
- Final interview β meet your future manager
To apply: send us your CV and answer our screening questions. Send a link to a YouTube video you think is particularly well packaged β either your own or someone else's. Add a few lines explaining what makes its title, thumbnail and hook effective.
