OtherDeveloper

We are convinced that the transformation towards sustainable, resilient and efficient infrastructures does not have to be complicated. We provide municipalities, utilities, grid operators and other infrastructure stakeholders with the data, analyses and decision-making tools they need for integrated infrastructure and energy system planning.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and solution-oriented Project Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on heating grids to support the implementation of transformation plans and feasibility studies and to contribute to the development of innovative tools and solutions for future-oriented energy systems.

  • Design and develop scalable algorithms for energy system modelling
  • Architect, extend and optimise simulation models in Python, ensuring modularity, performant data structures and reusable code
  • Conduct comprehensive and automated analyses of simulation results to extract actionable insights for energy planning
  • Translate local desktop simulations and algorithms into production-ready software architectures for integration into our SaaS platform
  • Establish and document standardised workflows for data integration, geoprocessing and quality assurance
  • Proactively align on-premise and academic tools with the requirements of production SaaS applications
  • Develop and extend greenventory's internal toolbox for energy system modelling and planning
  • Work closely with energy experts, software developers and researchers to turn complex energy system questions into robust technical solutions
  • Continuously improve the performance, maintainability and usability of our modelling and simulation tools
