Turf Application Specialist

Position Overview

As a Turf Application Specialist, you'll be responsible for the health and appearance of our clients' lawns across the Peoria market. You'll apply fertilizers, herbicides, and targeted treatments, diagnose turf problems in the field, and build the kind of client trust that keeps Green View properties looking their best season after season.

Day-to-day responsibilities include

• Applying fertilizers, herbicides, and other products to residential and commercial lawns following label and safety guidelines
• Inspecting lawns and diagnosing issues, pests, disease, nutrient deficiency, or environmental stress and recommending appropriate treatment
• Maintaining accurate records of all applications
• Supporting bed maintenance, pruning, and planting as needed
• Seasonal snow and ice removal support
• Working independently on routes and as part of a crew when the job calls for it

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of experience in turf care, lawn maintenance, or a related field
• IL Department of Agriculture Pesticide Applicators License or the willingness to obtain one. We support continuing education and will help you get there.
• Valid Illinois driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs routinely and work outdoors in all Central Illinois weather conditions
• Reliable, organized, and takes quality seriously
• Customer-facing experience is a plus, you'll interact with clients regularly
